Responsibilities
Partner with our PEO to support accurate, bi-weekly payroll
Audit payroll data and ensure multi-state compliance
Manage employee payroll questions and resolutions
Post roles, screen candidates, and manage the full recruiting lifecycle
Coordinate interviews and support a positive candidate experience
Prepare offers and manage acceptance and rejection communications
Administer employee benefits and serve as primary point of contact
Manage open enrollment and broker relationships
Support leaves of absence and accommodations (FMLA, ADA, COBRA, ACA)
Own HR systems, employee records, and data integrity
Develop and maintain SOPs for People Operations processes
Support HR, payroll, and benefits systems within the PEO
Track and report on key HR metrics including headcount, turnover, and compliance
Provide data-driven insights to support leadership decisions
Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding
Continuously improve workflows to enhance efficiency and employee experience
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience in People Operations, HRIS, or HR Operations
Strong systems, data, and process mindset
Experience supporting multi-state teams
Ability to partner cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Operations, and Legal
Preferred
Experience in a high-growth startup or PE-backed environment
HR automation or systems integration experience
Project management and people analytics experience
