They are actively looking for a Senior Revit Designer with structural expertise to create, analyze, and optimize designs for various projects, while managing the project CAD/BIM team and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

Create 3D models of various structures/installations and produce drawings using Revit

Create 2D drawings of various structural projects using Revit or AutoCAD

Manage the project CAD/BIM team

Review work product and ensure CAD team deliverables meet project schedules and budgets

Review engineering drawings to ensure adherence to established standards

Assist project team with organization, preparation and review of engineering drawing packages

Use Navisworks to perform clash detection between models from multiple consultants or internal team members

Required

Technical or Associate's degree; required

20+ years proven work experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation; required

7+ years proven work experience with Autodesk Revit; required

Knowledge of engineering design principles and construction methods

Understanding of civil site development and coordination between disciplines required

Knowledge of structural steel and concrete structures required with waterfront, heavy civil or industrial experience

Good analytical thinking, numeracy, computer, and problem-solving skills

10+ years of successful staff management, supervision and training experience required

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel advanced knowledge preferred)

Willingness and availability to travel on occasion may be required to a project site or office location

Due to client parameters, selected candidate must show (post offer) proof of U.S. citizenship and clear results of a thorough background check that may include but is not limited to credit and criminal history

All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171
