Responsibilities
Drive effective QA conversations with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for GPU Driver and Metal testing
Design and execute presubmission testing for GPU Drivers, ensuring critical issues are caught before integration
Develop test strategies that balance manual exploratory testing with automated coverage
Be proactive in developing AI-enabled testing methodologies and novel approaches to validate the software components that make up the GPU driver stack
Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks and tools that enable scalable, reliable testing
Develop sophisticated test automation to support both new HW and SW features
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Proven experience in both manual testing/QA methodology and test automation development
Strong experience developing test plans, test cases, and test strategies for complex software systems
Demonstrated ability in software development with a focus on tools and test automation
Proficiency with Unix-based operating systems (e.g., Linux, macOS) and command-line interface (CLI) tools
Experience in Python; Swift is a plus
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of fundamental data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
Familiarity with the complete software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Preferred
Experience with GPU technologies, graphics APIs (Metal, Vulkan, DirectX), or GPU driver development/testing
Proven experience in developing and maintaining QA infrastructure and automation framework
Experience with C/C++ programming
Experience with white-box testing methodologies and code coverage analysis
Knowledge of AI/ML techniques and their application to software testing
Experience with system-level debugging and performance analysis tools
Understanding of computer architecture and low-level hardware interaction
Background in developing custom test tools and frameworks from scratch
