Responsibilities
Package material by the instruction on the Shop Order using the Packaging Profile or as instructed
Keep up with the inventory of supplies, banding, seals, edge protectors, paper separators and skids
Skidding material
Generate computer assisted set-up
Selecting proper knives; set up slitter head; select and lay out tooling
Assist operator/helper, check shipping paperwork
Load/unload coils onto flat bed trucks/railcars using forklift and overhead crane
Proper placement of coils in the warehouse
Inspect, measure, using all tools required for each job in production and shipping departments
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor/manager in shipping and production departments
Must be able to walk, stand, bend
Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethics in working as a team
Safety minded at all times
Qualification
Required
Forklift and Overhead Crane experience is a plus!!
All candidates must be able and willing to work in a hot environment
