Responsibilities

Prepares financial reports in a timely manner that are in compliance with GAAP and accurately reflect the financial status of the company
Assures accounting integrity of corporate financial data through the implementation of appropriate internal controls
Independently prepares schedules and journal entries
Keeps abreast of and applies GAAP, SEC regulations, and relative company policies, practices and procedures
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's - Accounting / Finance / Business
Experience: 2+ years
Understanding of GAAP and FERC

Ability to quickly establish priorities and meet all assigned deadlines related to the FCOE accounting close and everyday tasks
Ability to analyze and explain complex problems and provide solutions
Strong financial analysis and presentation skills
Expertise in SAP, MS Suite, PowerPlan and Workiva
Strong and flexible team player
Highly organized and deadline driven individual
Continuous process improvement mind
