Family Farm and Home is a family owned and operated company based out of Michigan. They are seeking a Warehouse Associate who will be responsible for the timely receiving, storage, and delivery of warehouse products while ensuring the management and protection of inventory.

Responsibilities

Promote Family Farm and Home mission statement and family values

Responsible for managing and protecting all inventory and company assets in accordance with company policy against theft and damage

Receive work orders from supervisor to pick orders for shipment to FFH stores

Able to sort product with 100% accuracy

Ensure items are fitted together/assembled properly and labeled before being shipped out

Label pallets/packages as needed in accordance to labeling procedures provided by FFH

Operate warehouse equipment such as forklift, high lift, pallet jack and floor cleaning machine

Keep warehouse area clean on a consistent basis

All other duties as assigned by supervisor or company official

A successful Warehouse Associate will be responsible for implementing strategic decisions that govern the need for space apart from unloading and loading freight and providing service to our stores

This position requires an individual to be extremely dexterous as he will be required to operate warehouse equipment and perform basic mathematical calculations

A Warehouse Associate must be able to bend, twist, kneel and lift up to 50 lbs

Good communication and time management skills as well as an attention to detail are a must for a Warehouse Associate
