Financial Center Manager

Responsibilities
Monitors and manages the daily branch operations according to established objectives and ensures that appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions
Maintains communication with the Corporate office, prepares and submits routine reports, and attends scheduled management meetings
Monitors all branch activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
Process complex member inquiries including Trust accounts, Estate accounts, business accounts, etc
Meet established performance measurements by the Financial Center to open Advantage checking, fresh start checking, Certificate of Deposits and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA) accounts
Primarily responsible for handling member complaints, escalated member issues and complex inquires
Focus on the Financial Center's hospitality caliber service and maintain strong Net Promoter Scores
Act as a teller when business demands warrant, such as facilitating a cash drawer and performing overrides, error corrections, handling member issues, etc
Takes member loan applications and prepares them for review by Loan Consultant
Follows-up to determine status
Processes approved loans and sets up date and time to close the loan and make disbursements
Leads a small team to responsible for new revenue to the Financial Center
Coaches, directs, develops, motivates, hires and disciplines branch personnel; administers performance evaluations and recommends appropriate personnel
Conduct brief loan application interviews with members
Coordinates representation of the Financial Center as appropriate in its relationships with members, sponsor organizations(s), suppliers, other financial institutions, Adopt a School, and similar groups
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Five to ten years of similar or related experience
A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or equivalent experience
Minimum of two years prior management or supervisory experience
Must maintain compliance with Reg CC, BSA, OFAC, Reg B, Reg Z and MIP (CIP)
Must be well versed in Regulations such as: REG CC, BSA, OFAC, Reg B, Reg Z and MIP (CIP)
Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, talk and hear
Vision requirements include: close vision and the ability to focus
Nature of the position requires physical mobility and the ability to lift a maximum of 30 pounds
This position demands a flexible schedule with rotational Saturdays with Towne Lake required
Preferred
Achieve the Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor designation (CCUFC)
Some travel is required for this position
