Responsibilities
Nurture early-stage ideas into well-developed, usable experiences
Create prototypes and proof of concepts that communicate ideas effectively
Work directly with other teams to leverage expertise from across the company
Iterate on concepts based on feedback and testing
Qualification
Required
5 years of experience designing for and/or writing software for Apple platforms
3 years experience of creative prototyping in software
Expertise in Swift or Objective-C, or equally strong experience in Python + ML stacks
Preferred
Able to deal with ambiguity, and a gut instinct for making things that will help bring clarity. We often work on projects where we need to create something to help understand the objectives & boundaries
A learning mentality and a willingness to try things that may fail. You should be able to learn from both success and failures
A sense for effective design. If you have design training or design experience, even better
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
Background in either machine learning or HCI
PhD in computer science or a related field
