Responsibilities

Assist Coordinators in all aspects of a successful event including, but not limited to: set-up/strike, A/V, equipment needs, event space, food and beverage services, parking, activities, tours, etc
Serve as the day of liaison between client and Event Services to ensure a successful and safe event
Work with campus partners to elevate the client and their guests event experience
Record & report any event changes pre and post event
Other duties as assigned

Required

Handle difficult situations with the public and guests in a calm & professional manner
Employees must maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance
Flexible with work schedule. Hours will vary depending on the season and number of events at venues. Hours may include nights, weekends & holidays. Approximately 20-30 hours per week
Ability to solve problems
Excellent customer service and people skills
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
