Marketing Intern
The Massachusetts State Lottery Commission is looking for enthusiastic Marketing Interns to support the goals of the Marketing Department. This entry-level role will provide the opportunity to work with various teams to plan events and assist with social media campaigns, helping interns acquire marketing skills and gain insight into the lottery industry.
Government Administration
Responsibilities
Regularly travel across Massachusetts to retailer locations, regional Lottery offices, and various cities and towns for content creation, marketing events, etc
Assist the Stakeholder Engagement team with the planning and execution of marketing events, both in-house and off-site
Assist the Social Media Coordinator and digital marketing team to create social media content that supports the brand and our various product lines
Support the team in the development of advertising, product campaigns, and new product launches
Work with the Lottery’s in-house video production team to create content to support current and upcoming campaigns
Support the graphic design team by resizing digital assets
Complete other administrative tasks, as needed
The Massachusetts State Lottery Commission serves the 351 cities and towns in Massachusetts though its headquarters and regional offices. Interns will be required to travel to work in any such location as the needs of the Lottery demand
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license will be required
Physical ability to lift and carry 30-50 lbs
Preferred
Current student of a 4-year undergraduate program studying Marketing, Business, Communication, or Graphic Design
Basic Adobe Creative Suite skills
Experience with Canva
Experience with all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.)
