Responsibilities
Develop and implement the company’s vision, mission and overall strategy to lead the organization in achieving its objectives and ensuring long-term sustainability
Collaborate with the Board of Directors to identify, create and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives
Drive the growth of primary care practices partnering with CeCN by developing compelling incentives and value-added benefits to attract new participants, while also implementing strategies to ensure high customer retention and long-term engagement
Leverage a deep and nuanced understanding of change management to influence and engage primary care physicians, particularly those not mandated to participate, by demonstrating the clear value and low risk of referring patient cases to CeCN specialists
Recruit and functional leaders to drive continued growth, clinical excellence and financial sustainability
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, regulatory bodies, and technology partners
Identify potential risks and opportunities within the organization and its environment to protect business interests
Cultivate potential sources of investment and lead efforts for funding
Maintain and expand the specialist network by actively driving targeted recruitment efforts
Establish and maintain rigorous quality assurance programs to monitor, evaluate and improve effectiveness, safety and patient satisfaction
Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, data privacy laws, and quality standards, and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational, clinical and financial risks. Build connections with, and commitment of, clinical staff to ensure quality and efficiency of consults
Work closely with Finance to develop and manage budgets to ensure financial health through effective resource allocation, cost control, and revenue generation strategies
As a member of Moses Weitzman Health System executive leadership, contribute to the strategic, financial and operational leadership of the organization
Qualification
Required
Masters' degree or equivalent in relevant disciple (healthcare, business)
Demonstrated record of entrepreneurial success in start-ups or as a division within a larger organization, preferably with a healthcare focus
Excellent credibility with business partners and stakeholders
Highly effective negotiating skills
A high level of business acumen and demonstrated ability to develop and execute a complex business strategy
Preferred
Strong planning, organizational and management skills, particularly relative to entrepreneurial development
Ability to effectively lead a diverse team
Clear, concise and persuasive writing, communication and presentation skills
Excellent and detailed research and analytical skills
Able to interpret complex rules and regulations
Decisive and exercises good judgment under pressure
Ability to manage a diverse and demanding workload
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
As the executive liaison with external and internal constituencies (including regulators), must have the demonstrated ability to deal with highly confidential information
