Responsibilities
Administer Oracle EPM Cloud environments including Planning, Essbase, Smart View, and Financial Reporting
Maintain and optimize Hyperion Planning and Essbase environments (on-premise or cloud)
Monitor system performance and conduct routine maintenance
Implement and maintain jobs/schedules supporting EPM hierarchies and Hyperion Financial Reports
Assist with upgrades, patches, and enhancements in coordination with development teams and Oracle support
Support finance teams during planning cycles, forecast updates, and month-end close
Automate recurring support workflows using ServiceNow
Assist in leading Hyperion and EPM Cloud projects from conception to deployment
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and manage timelines
Translate business requirements into technical solutions that enhance financial processes
Provide training and support to finance users on Hyperion and EPM Cloud functionalities
Manage user provisioning, access reviews, and compliance certifications
Govern and support data warehouse integrations and Oracle database repositories
Support automation and streamlining of financial close and reporting processes
Act as liaison between finance, IT, and business units to ensure alignment of technical solutions with strategic goals
Collaborate with finance teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles
Analyze system usage and performance to identify opportunities for process and reporting improvements
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data load issues, calculation errors, and performance bottlenecks
Support integration with other enterprise systems and ensure seamless data flow
Create and maintain system documentation, process flows, and training materials
Provide training and support to finance users on system functionality and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
4+ years of experience in Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and EPM Cloud administration
Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
Proficiency in Smart View, Calculation Manager, and EPM Automate
Familiarity with Active Directory integration and SSO enablement strategies
Preferred
Expertise in Hyperion Financial Reporting, Smart View, and Calculation Manager
Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle
Knowledge of Oracle OCI tenancy and subscription management is a plus
Experience with metadata and data refreshes, cube optimization, and performance tuning
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
