This role involves program management, community engagement, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the success of youth prevention initiatives.

Responsibilities
Overseeing the operation, management, and program development of the Beyond Identities Community Center (BICC) Program
Ensuring the youth prevention program is implemented in accordance with the funding deliverables
Interfacing with the diverse population of staff, clients, community leaders and stakeholders
Strategizing how the priorities and needs of the youth in our community and those of AHF intersect
Maintaining relationships with the affiliate leadership team, as well as local AHF business lines
Ensuring patients of both entities are retained in care and receive the quality of care they need and deserve
Making introductions of AHF staff to stakeholders in community and helping form those relationships
Ensuring that the AHF core Values and Mission stay top of mind
Working as a part of a close knit team to be nimble, strategic, and empathetic when problems arise
Appreciating and respecting staff and knowing their strengths and weaknesses to build on strengths and build up the weaknesses
Working collaboratively with the program’s funder, different affiliate departments and across business lines to create successful strategies that keep patients in care and promote the AIDS Taskforce and AHF’s broad service provisions
Qualification
Required
Overseeing the operation, management, and program development of the Beyond Identities Community Center (BICC) Program
Working with the Director of Education and other program directors to ensure the youth prevention program is implemented in accordance with the funding deliverables
Interfacing with a diverse population of staff, clients, community leaders, and stakeholders
Strategizing how the priorities and needs of the youth in the community intersect with those of AHF
Maintaining relationships with the affiliate leadership team and local AHF business lines
Ensuring patients are retained in care and receive quality care
Making introductions of AHF staff to stakeholders in the community
Being a passionate advocate for top initiatives
Ensuring AHF core values and mission are prioritized
Adapting in a dynamic environment to provide the best experience for clients and workplace for employees
Working collaboratively with the program's funder, different affiliate departments, and across business lines
Preferred
HIV Testing Certification preferred
