Senior Field Service Engineer – Condition Monitoring (US)
DALOG Diagnosesysteme GmbH is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to represent the company in the United States. This role involves working directly at customer sites to commission condition monitoring systems and provide technical support, acting as a trusted partner for plant engineers and reliability teams.
Responsibilities
Perform on-site installation and commissioning of condition monitoring systems
Verify sensor placement, signal quality, and system performance
Support start-ups, troubleshooting, and critical operating phases
Interpret machine behavior in relation to load, process, and operating conditions
Translate findings into clear, actionable technical recommendations
Act as the primary technical contact for US customers
Lead technical discussions with maintenance, reliability, and operations teams
Build long-term trust through hands-on expertise and practical insight
Identify opportunities for monitoring extensions and follow-up projects
Provide technical input for solution definition and proposals
Support account development through real field knowledge
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience in vibration analysis and condition monitoring
Background in rotating equipment in industrial environments
Comfortable working independently on customer sites
Preferred
Experience in the cement industry (plants, OEMs, or service providers)
Exposure to grinding, crushing, large drives, or gearboxes
Experience beyond vibration, such as process, torque, or power data
