As a Senior Airtable & Automation Consultant, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing Airtable solutions for clients, working closely to understand their needs and create automated workflows.

Responsibilities

Engage with clients to gather requirements, write PRDs, and understand their business processes

Conduct discovery sessions to identify opportunities for Airtable implementation and optimization—both within their specific department and outside of it

Provide expert advice on best practices and potential solutions using Airtable

Design and build custom Airtable bases tailored to client specifications

Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces

Identify opportunities for automation within client workflows and implement Airtable automations

Integrate Airtable with other tools and platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make, APIs) to create seamless workflows

Develop and test scripts using Airtable’s scripting block or other programming languages to extend functionality

Provide personalized training sessions for clients to ensure they can effectively use their Airtable solutions

Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting to resolve client issues and optimize their Airtable setups

Create documentation, guides, and video tutorials to aid clients in maintaining and expanding their Airtable bases

Manage 3-5 client projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes

Collaborate with internal teams, including designers and developers, to deliver comprehensive solutions

Regularly update clients on project progress, manage expectations, and ensure satisfaction

Required

Deep Airtable expertise. This should include a thorough understanding of optimized base design, automation, and integration

Experience with other automation tools such as Zapier, Make, and API integrations

Knowledge of UX/UI design principles, especially for creating user-friendly interfaces in Airtable

2+ years of experience working with Airtable in a professional setting

Demonstrated ability to design and implement Airtable solutions that meet business needs

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. This also includes prompt, regular communication

Strong problem-solving skills. If you don't know how to solve something, you should be very good at figuring out how

Highly organized; you'll be managing multiple projects, so a high level of organization is necessary in order to manage projects and deadlines effectively

A deep passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends

Preferred

Familiarity with JavaScript and Airtable scripting automations aren't necessary, but are a major plus

Experience in consulting or client-facing roles, preferably within a variety of industries. This can be substituted with industry experience in some of the core industries and department functions we work with
