They are looking to add depth to their finance department by hiring a Financial Analyst who will analyze royalty payments, create financial models, and assist with reporting for clients and investors.

Responsibilities

Analyze royalty payments to ensure companies are being paid correctly

Organize data so that reports and analysis can be refreshed quickly

Create monthly and quarterly summary reports for clients and investors

Assist with the firm’s asset divestment process

Create and manage financial models for investments

Refresh and review data models and reports in PowerBI

Develop and maintain board and investor presentations

Assist with writing quarterly Management letters to investors

Keep a pulse on mineral and royalty transactions in the oil and gas space
