Digital Marketing Coordinator

Linda Hall Library is a cultural institution dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion, and they are seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator to enhance their digital marketing efforts. This role will execute and optimize digital marketing initiatives, develop content across platforms, and drive online engagement through targeted campaigns.

Responsibilities

Develop, schedule, and publish digital marketing assets across platforms (website, social media, email, etc.)
Plan, purchase, and monitor digital advertising campaigns to maximize reach and ROI
Create, post, and engage with audiences on social media channels; monitor analytics and trends to inform strategy
Update website content, ensure accuracy and timeliness, and collaborate on improvements to user experience
Work closely with the Marketing Manager to align digital activities with broader marketing strategies and campaigns
Track and report on digital campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
Assist in writing and editing digital content, including graphics, posts, and multimedia assets
Stay current with digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the library remains competitive and innovative
Complete all other duties, functions, or special projects as assigned or requested for the general support of the Library

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
2+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or related roles
Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, etc.), social media tools, and website CMS
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
Analytical Thinking: Effectively dissects and interprets information by breaking down complex problems, analyzing data, and drawing logical conclusions
Project Coordination: Organizes, monitors, and reports on project tasks, deliverables, and budgets to relevant stakeholders. Helps to keep projects on track
Effective Communication: Expresses ideas clearly, actively listens to others, and checks for understanding. Adapts communication style to different audiences and seeks input
Collaboration: Works seamlessly with colleagues across functions and levels. Shares information, seeks input, and leverages diverse perspectives and expertise. Demonstrates adaptability and a charitable approach when working with others
Patron/Visitor Focus: Prioritizes the needs and experiences of Library patrons or visitors. Connects patrons with relevant collections, services, and programs, ensuring that the library remains a welcoming and valuable community resource
Creativity: Takes an imaginative, original, and innovative approach when tackling problems or projects. Generates novel solutions, conceptualizes fresh ideas, and invents new forms or methods. Adeptly translates abstract theories or vague objectives into practical solutions or products
Adaptability: Exhibits the capacity to modify and adjust work methods in response to evolving circumstances or shifting demands. Remains open-minded, embraces change, and proactively seeks innovative solutions to new challenges

Preferred

Experience with graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
Familiarity with SEO and web analytics (Google Analytics)
