Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with commercial and residential real estate transactions from inception through closing
Prepare, draft, and review transactional documents, including contracts, leases, loan documents, closing statements, and ancillary agreements
Coordinate and manage real estate and loan closings, including preparation of closing checklists and closing documents
Order, review, and track title searches, surveys, estoppels, zoning letters, and municipal lien searches
Review title commitments and assist with resolving title survey issues
Interface with lenders, borrowers, title companies, surveyors, municipalities, and opposing counsel
Maintain and organize transaction files and closing documentation
Assist with post-closing tasks, including recording documents and finalizing closing binders
Conduct due diligence review and summarize findings for attorneys
Track critical dates, deliverables, and conditions precedent to closing
Perform legal research related to real estate and banking matters as requested
Assist with billing entries, timekeeping, and expense tracking as required
Perform other administrative-related tasks as assigned

Required

Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in Banking and Real Estate

Job related experience
Paralegal certificate

Preferred
