Responsibilities
Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with all departments including other Production, Quality, Shipping, Training, and Engineering teams
Develop and maintain knowledge of department in terms of quality, productivity, capability, and capacity. Work in collaboration with Team Leads to achieve production plans. Actively solicit, educate, and drive implementation of safety opportunities identified by team
Effectively communicate business objectives, expectations, and feedback to team members Proactively communicate upwards on team status, challenges, and support requirements. Cross- functional communication and collaboration within the Supervisor team is expected
Drive team member development and improvement through coaching and mentoring activities. Set expectation by demonstrating ZOLL leadership qualities
Lead continuous improvement through effective leadership of product teams, lead Tier meetings and root cause/corrective action activities, support PULSE initiatives and daily management
Management responsibility for team members. Will frequently give direction to personnel and act in a project management role with accountability for getting results through others
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required; Technical Associates degree or 4-year college degree preferred
Three to five years minimum leadership experience in a manufacturing/production environment or equivalent
Proven ability to lead cross-functionally by inspiring team members and fostering an atmosphere of diversity, intellectual curiosity, and forward-thinking mindset
Highly-motivated individual, sets a ‘high-bar' of achievement for self and others, actively mentors and develops people, works outside of functional ‘boundaries', actively collaborates and builds trust with people, exhibits managerial courage, makes and keeps commitments, keeps stakeholders informed, delivers positive results despite constraints
Demonstrated resilience and humility in leading themselves
