Lockheed Martin is seeking a Site Lead and F-16 Avionics Intermediate Shop Field Service Engineer for operations supporting the UAE Air Force at Al Dhafra Air Base. Responsibilities

Be the single-point of contact to oversee all on-site F-16 contractor support operations at Al Dhafra AB, UAE and will be the primary customer liaison to the customer in the field
Have overall responsibility for on-site contractor technical services, contractor logistics support (CLS) maintenance and Field Support Engineers (FSE)
Communicate priorities and needs to key Program Management personnel
Manage project / support resources in compliance with cost goals and operating budgets and maintain a sustained growth of technical and professional competence of the on-site support team
Be responsive to the operational and support concerns of the local customer and ensure responsive support is provided
Coordinate and supports industry visits and deployed Contractor Field Team (CFT) to the site
Have management tasks that include, but are not limited to, oversight of all on-site contractor activities, planning and scheduling of on-site teamwork assignments (including potential contractor deployment packages), enforcement of safety and physical security procedures and directives, and management of labor charges and administrative documentation
Ensure personnel compliance with program, company, and government agency policies and procedures and coordinate staffing and training requirements
Provide on-site/on-equipment informal unit training to the component level on installation, maintenance and operating techniques pertaining to the adjustment, calibration, trouble-shooting, bench check, routine maintenance, inspection and repair of the prime equipment/system
Devise local informal training programs and provide advice in identifying needed training programs
Render technical advice to resolve difficult and unusual maintenance problems
Provide liaison through which information related to maintenance and operational problems can be quickly disseminated to operations and maintenance personnel
Provide training on the use and interpretation of applicable technical orders. Provide advice as requested to assist in accident investigation and preparing failure data reports and unsatisfactory reports
Be willing to work any shift, and weekends. Some travel may be required
Pass an overseas physical examination

Preferred

Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customer fighter training operations support
At least 10 years of aircraft maintenance, Operations, or Supply professional experience
Familiar with all Blocks F-16
Experience working and interacting with senior management within unit, operations, and maintenance communities
Knowledge of F-16 pilot and maintainer systems & processes, and/or logistics support
Have a valid US Passport
