Responsibilities

Visit a high volume of restaurant prospects within the assigned Wilson, NC territory
Introduce the company’s platform and clearly communicate its value to restaurant owners and decision makers
Identify and engage owners or key decision makers during brief, in-person conversations
Build rapport quickly and earn trust in a fast-paced, face-to-face selling environment
Secure and schedule qualified meetings for the Outside Sales team
Log all visits, conversations, and outcomes accurately in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar systems)
Collaborate closely with Outside Account Executives on target accounts, follow-ups, and territory strategy
Plan and manage daily routes to maximize productivity and meeting quality
Conduct follow-up communication via phone, text, or email to confirm meetings and maintain engagement
Meet or exceed weekly and monthly performance targets related to meetings set and held
Gather and share feedback from local merchants to improve sales messaging and overall approach

Qualification

Outbound sales experienceCRM tools proficiencyVerbal communicationTime management skillsSelf-motivated

Required

1+ year of experience in outbound sales, canvassing, field marketing, or customer-facing roles focused on new business or sign-ups
Backgrounds in sales, hospitality, retail, food service, or service industries are highly valued
Comfortable conducting high-volume, short, in-person conversations daily
Strong verbal communication skills and confidence engaging with new people
Ability to learn and clearly articulate a value proposition
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field
Organized with strong time management and follow-up skills
Coachable, open to feedback, and interested in long-term sales career growth
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within the local territory

Preferred

Experience using CRM or sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, or similar)
Restaurant, food & beverage, or local business experience
Prior experience in face-to-face or field sales environments
