Executive Accountant
Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence is seeking an Executive Accountant to enhance their financial operations. The role involves financial reporting, process improvement, compliance management, and supporting audit processes to ensure accurate financial practices.

Responsibilities
Preparing necessary source documents (invoices, credit memos, and journal entries), evaluating customer contracts for revenue recognition purposes and tax exemption status; reconciling accounts, and analyzing data
Identifying inefficiencies in accounting workflows, developing new processes, and implementing best practices to enhance operations
Ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other federal/state financial regulations and identifying potential financial risks
Assisting with the setup or updating of accounting software and with the training of client staff
Assisting internal and external auditors with necessary documentation and information
Maintain accurate transaction records and ledgers
Review financial data to ascertain proper accounting applications, find opportunities and resolve issues
Respond to accounting-related risks and queries
Other duties, as assigned
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
A minimum of 10 years of accounting experience
Advanced Excel proficiency
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Experience in general ledger, customer billings and revenue recognition
Excellent communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Proactive attitude and focus on process improvement
Preferred
Experience with Great Plains
