Responsibilities
Draft and review oil and gas title opinions
Analyze complex mineral ownership and land records
Work on large-scale title projects, including ranches and multi-parcel tracts
Collaborate with experienced title attorneys and partners
Use cloud-based systems to manage title documentation
Gradually develop into a more client-facing role
Qualification
Required
1+ year of experience as an oil and gas title attorney (2+ years preferred)
Prior clerkship and experience at a recognized title law firm
Texas bar license (or willingness to obtain)
Strong analytical and drafting skills for complex title opinions
Willingness to work on-site at least 2–3 days per week
Preferred
Bar admission in Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, Illinois, Kentucky, or Tennessee
Experience with large-scale mineral title opinions
Familiarity with cloud-based legal systems
Interest in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
