Account Executive, Core New Business

Quickbase is a company focused on eliminating Gray Work through its Dynamic Work Management platform. They are seeking an early to mid-career Account Executive to join their Commercial New Business sales team, responsible for acquiring new customers and managing the full sales cycle.

Responsibilities

Proactively prospect into target accounts using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Outreach, and cold calling/emailing to generate new opportunities
Qualify inbound leads and convert them into pipeline while owning your outbound motion (aim for 50+ activities/day)
Conduct consultative discovery to uncover business pain points and position Quickbase as the solution
Deliver compelling demos and proofs-of-concept that show real ROI
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline to consistently hit monthly/quarterly quotas
Negotiate contracts, overcome objections, and close new business
Accurately forecast in Salesforce and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Stay sharp on industry trends and competitive landscape to win deals

Required

2–5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in full-cycle or outbound roles (new business/hunting preferred; expand or farmer backgrounds considered if you have strong prospecting chops)
Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota (President's Club or similar a plus)
Early to mid-career seller who's hungry, coachable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with cold outreach and not afraid of rejection — you love the thrill of the hunt
Strong discovery and demo skills; ability to simplify complex problems and articulate value
Experience with Salesforce, Gong, Outreach/Sequencing tools, and modern sales tech
Excellent communication — you can build rapport with everyone from end-users to executives

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
Bonus: Exposure to low-code/no-code platforms, operational software, or selling into operations/IT/project management buyers
