Responsibilities
Lead and execute Microsoft 365 migrations, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams (channels, files, and associated data)
Plan and implement Entra ID tenant setup, group structure, and identity alignment
Evaluate and select appropriate migration tools and approaches based on environment constraints
Navigate limitations of GoDaddy-managed environments, including restricted PowerShell access and export controls
Identify migration risks, dependencies, and data integrity concerns, proactively addressing “gotchas”
Provide clear technical recommendations and migration strategies to stakeholders
Serve as the primary escalation point throughout the migration lifecycle
Document migration processes, decisions, and outcomes to support long-term operations
Qualification
Required
Proven experience leading (not just executing) Microsoft 365 migrations
Strong hands-on expertise with Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams migrations
Deep understanding of identity, tenant configuration, and Entra ID fundamentals
Familiarity with migration tooling such as BitTitan MigrationWiz and ShareGate
Ability to assess migration risks, constraints, and limitations — and recommend solutions
Comfortable operating as the primary technical resource in a lean IT environment
