This role will involve managing capital expansion and improvement projects for an industry-leading steel manufacturer, requiring collaboration with engineers and project managers to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities
Justify, manage, install, and successfully close capital investment projects
Develop engineering technical specifications required for assigned projects
Support purchasing activities, including technical bid analysis and supplier selection
Apply strong engineering knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and automation disciplines
Support construction, fabrication, and revamp of new and existing equipment
Assist TPM teams with small improvement projects as needed
Collaborate with manufacturing support teams to drive process improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree)
Minimum 3–5 years of project management experience within engineering or maintenance departments
Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing industrial equipment installation projects
General tooling knowledge related to metal machining
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
CAD experience required (AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks)
Ability to understand and execute instructions effectively
Strong verbal, written, and analytical communication skills
Preferred
Preferred experience with electrical, automation, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
