They are seeking a Project Accountant to join their growing finance team, where the role involves maintaining project financials, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting project performance tracking.

Responsibilities
Maintain project financials including job cost, WIP, and revenue recognition
Prepare and analyze budget vs. actual reports and project margin trends
Support percentage-of-completion accounting and forecast updates
Process and review progress billings, AIA billing, and contract adjustments
Track labor, consultant, subcontractor, and expense allocations
Monitor change orders, commitments, and cost-to-complete
Partner with project teams to improve financial visibility and controls
Support month-end close and project-level reporting
Assist with audits and compliance requirements
Maintain accurate data within ERP and project accounting systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of project or construction accounting experience
Strong understanding of job costing, WIP, and revenue recognition
Advanced Excel skills
Strong communication and ability to work with non-finance project teams
Preferred
Background in Architecture, Engineering or Construction preferred
Experience with AEC ERP systems preferred
