Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently
Schedule appointments and manage the dental clinic's calendar to optimize patient flow
Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance claims processing
Maintain accurate patient records, including care plans and medical histories
Handle phone systems effectively, addressing inquiries and directing calls as needed
Assist in clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care
Utilize systems like Epic for scheduling and record management
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar clerical role within a dental clinic or hospital setting
Proficiency in medical scheduling and insurance verification processes
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff
Ability to operate phone systems efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to commute to Palm Bay, FL 32909
Ability to relocate to Palm Bay, FL 32909 before starting work
Preferred
Familiarity with dental terminology and care plans is highly desirable
