Responsibilities

Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
Manage and motivate a network of third-party sales agents (Manufacturers' Representatives) to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives
Provide coaching, training, and ongoing support to the sales agents to enhance their performance
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote products and capabilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with electronics components distributors to ensure effective collaboration and maximize market coverage
Develop joint business plans with distributors, including promotional strategies, inventory management, and sales initiatives
Monitor distributor performance, ensuring they meet agreed-upon targets and expectations
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including emerging markets, industry trends, and potential customers
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and product management, to develop and implement strategies for market penetration
Analyze market data, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to adapt strategies and recommend new products or services
Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to senior management
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline management in CRM tools

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Five (5) year of exceptional sales experience, in a private, public, government or military environment
Current, valid Driver's License

Preferred

Experience articulating value propositions and system-selling
Understanding of manufacturing processes
Experience developing and managing key accounts
Product demonstration experience and competence
Strong track record of collaboration and cross-functional teamwork
Salesforce.com experience is desired
