Responsibilities

Takes guidance/direction of the Sr. Graphic Designer as well as Print Shop Manager

Must be able to thrive in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects

Demonstrates proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat and Illustrator

Works with Mercy Marketing to implement and maintain the design standard set by Creative Services

Creates materials that support and reflect Mercy’s brand, culture and strategic goals

Maintains the integrity of the Mercy’s brand standards

Works to implement client changes in a timely manner

Maintains knowledge of current graphic-design software and applications

Required

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field Required

3+ years of demonstrated design experience Required

Experience in developing visual graphics, production layouts and preflighting jobs. Required

Experience with large format printing, cut sheet digital printers, color correction, color proofing and copy-editing a plus. Required

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and Web Design/Layout. Required

Graphic Design Certificate Required

Preferred

Experience in designing html-based communications Preferred

HTML-based communication experience Preferred
