Responsibilities
Inspect Receiving and In-Process materials for conformance to customer specifications and production/manufacturing drawings
Maintain inspection reports and record inspection data
Able to use precision handheld and automated measuring equipment, and document detailed dimensional inspection results
Coordinate inspection activities with the leads/supervisors and employees in the area where work is being performed
Read and comprehend blueprints
Perform review and scanning of completed inspection and work order documents
Functional knowledge of QT9 QMS software and Alere ERP software modules, as applicable
Adhere to and implement, as applicable, company HSE policies, procedures, and practices
All employees are responsible for complying with the rules and regulations set forth by Federal, Local, and State government and LISI Aerospace
All employees are responsible for attending all training provided and for adhering to all HSE procedures, policies, and plans, conforming to reporting requirements, and safe operating procedures always
All employees are required to bring any known or suspected nonconformance for all company procedures or legal requirements to management’s attention immediately

Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 1 year of related experience in inspection; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
Ability to perform these operations using units and weight measurement, volume, and distance
Ability to deal with typical inspection and product quality issues
Evidence of 'US person' is required under ITAR
Ability to use precision handheld and automated measuring equipment, and document detailed dimensional inspection results
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
Functional knowledge of QT9 QMS software and Alere ERP software modules, as applicable
Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time
Ability to speak or listen and requires eye-hand coordination, repetitive hand and arm movement and manual dexterity
Ability to regularly bend, reach to shoulder level and lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 30 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
Hearing level within normal/average range
