Project Assistant

Responsibilities

Organize and manage project documents, including drawings, submittals, contracts, etc
Prepare various forms and reports as directed by Project Managers (Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, Change Orders, Submittals, RFI)
Monitor construction management contract compliance (COI, bonds, permits, Safety)
Order & Track Equipment, Review Invoices
Assist in Compliance Monitoring of Subcontractors
Act as liaison with GC, project manager, field, vendors, subcontractors, and accounting
Knowledge of construction industry
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Critical thinker with a continuous improvement mindset
Positive, professional, polite
Solid communication skills, written and verbal
Effectively understands and sets priorities
Dependable and driven self-starter with strong self-responsibility
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, Team, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of Viewpoint is a plus, but not necessary
Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus, but not necessary
Implementation of all Safety requirements

Required

High School Diploma required
3 years of experience as a Project Assistant or Project Coordinator
Familiar with general construction practices
Very organized
Some experience with excel, accounting, and project management
