Responsibilities

Own the Compliance Lifecycle: Direct the end-to-end documentation process, ensuring all initial customer requirements are met with precision and speed
Documentation Integrity: Rigorously review and audit submitted compliance documents, managing the approval/rejection workflow to maintain high data standards
Risk Mitigation: Proactively verify vendor insurance status on a 90-day cycle to ensure continuous coverage and platform integrity
Diligence & Follow-up: Maintain a high-cadence follow-up process for unsubmitted documents to ensure no gaps in the Billy ecosystem
Strategic Point of Contact: Serve as the trusted daily advisor for clients, resolving inquiries with a focus on "first-contact resolution."
Value Realization: Partner with clients to ensure they are leveraging the full suite of Billy solutions, directly influencing account health and annual renewals
Data-Driven Reporting: Deliver weekly performance metrics and status updates, transforming raw data into clear narratives of account progress
Relationship Expansion: Cultivate professional rapport to identify "voice of the customer" insights, uncovering opportunities for product expansion and platform optimization
Client Advocacy: Monitor and translate customer feedback into actionable insights, collaborating with internal teams to refine the user experience
Process Evolution: Bring a "best-in-class" mindset to the team by challenging the status quo and suggesting operational improvements that drive efficiency

Qualification

Required

2–4 years of experience in account coordination, compliance management, or a high-volume operational role
Operational Precision: A proven track record of managing complex document workflows and meeting deadlines
Communication Excellence: The ability to build rapport with clients while firmly enforcing compliance standards and insurance requirements
Customer Success Mindset: Experience identifying opportunities for product expansion and 'value realization' within existing accounts
Detail Orientation: High comfort level with repetitive, high-stakes tasks like verifying vendor insurance (COIs) and auditing legal documents
Technical Proficiency: Experience using CRMs and data-tracking tools to generate weekly client-facing metric reports
Professional Persistence: Comfortable managing follow-ups and resolving account issues with 'first-contact' urgency
Innovative Thinking: A curious mindset with a desire to challenge the status quo and improve internal team processes

Preferred

Familiarity with standard construction compliance documentation, in an insurance brokerage or carrier setting, construction administrative role, or lender compliance setting
CRIS certification (Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist) strongly preferred
Experience in a remote-first team environment
