Responsibilities
Plan, implement, and maintain security measures to protect networks, systems, and data
Monitor security events using SIEM and EDR tools and report findings
Respond to security incidents, breaches, and help minimize their impact
Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis on systems, networks, and applications
Mentor other team members on security processes, strategies, and tools
Work closely with IT teams to meet organizational security objectives
Maintain records of security events, incidents, and responses
Use SQL, APIs, and Power BI to generate security reports
Utilize both blue team (defensive) and red team (offensive) security tools
Qualification
Required
Must be a current South Carolina resident; no relocation assistance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
4+ years of hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, IPS/IDS tools
4+ years of hands-on experience with security documentation and reporting
4+ years of hands-on experience with programming/scripting in C/C++, Python, or PowerShell
4+ years of hands-on experience with Red and Blue Team activities
4+ years of hands-on experience with Office 365 Security Administration
Preferred
Experience as a SOC (Security Operations Center) analyst
SQL/scripting for reports and automation
Security certifications such as CISSP, CSSP, SSCP, or CEH
