Lead Salesforce Consultant
Venture is a growing Salesforce consulting firm focused on helping clients design, implement, and optimize Salesforce solutions that actually fit their business. The Lead Salesforce Consultant is responsible for leading Salesforce engagements from start to finish, guiding clients through onboarding and implementation while blending technical expertise and project leadership.
Responsibilities
Lead clients through the full Salesforce implementation lifecycle, including kickoff, requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, and go-live
Conduct welcome calls and review project scope and success criteria
Perform Salesforce training sessions and solution walkthroughs tailored to client needs
Ask thoughtful, strategic questions to understand client workflows and identify gaps or opportunities for improvement
Configure and customize Salesforce solutions to support client business processes
Guide and assist customers through data conversion and migration efforts, ensuring clean, accurate, and seamless transitions into Salesforce
Oversee project execution by managing Asana, ensuring tickets are properly prioritized, assigned, and tracked to maintain momentum and meet deadlines
Write clear, detailed implementation tickets based on gathered requirements, including scope, acceptance criteria, and relevant technical details
Provide regular project status updates to clients and internal teams
Log time daily to ensure accurate project tracking, reporting, and forecasting
Monitor project phases, proactively identify risks, escalate issues when needed, and ensure alignment on key deliverables
Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, implementation methodologies, and internal workflows
Share client feedback and insights to help refine Venture’s service offerings and best practices
Develop and maintain training materials, configuration documentation, and internal knowledge resources to support both clients and team members
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field
3–5 years of experience in Salesforce consulting, product implementation, business analysis, or technical problem-solving roles. Including experience with FSC, Marketing Cloud, API Integrations, Omnistudio, etc
2+ years of experience in financial services or lending
Experience in a client-facing role within a B2B or SaaS environment
Salesforce Admin and Advanced Admin Cert
Strong understanding of Salesforce administration, including Flows, Lightning page layouts, custom objects and fields, reporting, Apex, Etc
Preferred
FSC Accreditation is a big plus
APex and Software Development Knowledge is a big plus
