Cash Applications Associate
AAON, Inc. is seeking a Cash Applications Associate to process customer payments. The role involves applying payments to customer accounts, addressing inquiries related to cash application issues, and balancing the Accounts Receivable ledger daily and monthly.

Responsibilities
Process Lockbox, ACH, and Wire payments from customers
Applies payments to customer’s accounts
Addresses inquires and complaints regarding cash application issues
Code non-customer payments to the proper GL
Pull, process, and post web & parts store credit card reports
Post unapplied funds
Apply memo’s on customer accounts
Communicate with Credit, customers, and various departments
Balance Accounts Receivable ledger and cash daily and at the end of each month
Maintains confidentiality of customer information
Prepares and post journal entries (bank transfers / intercompany payments / AR credit balances)
Roll the AR and Balance AR Ageing reports to GL
Request memo’s related to cash
Maintains records and files as required for audits
Assists others with entering/posting journal entries
Assists Billing with matching invoices/paperwork
Forward wire emails to the AR group
Assist with formatting gross profit reports
Assist with special projects
Qualification
Required
Some College education to meet entry-level requirements
1-2 years industry experience or equivalent experience in a similar industry
Good decision making skills
Analytical problem solving skills
Statistical analysis skills
Excellent organizational abilities
Effective communication skills in written and spoken form
Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to lift up to 25lbs
Ability to climb
Ability to stoop
Ability to sit for prolonged periods
Ability to perform periodic visits to manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure
