This role involves owning the software architecture and engineering delivery for the platform that powers fleet operations, OTA, and cloud control systems.

Responsibilities
Lead engineering across product and platform software: Solar Plant Software + UPS/Storage Software + Generator Software + Site Orchestration
Build the “augmented power” layer: dispatch logic, control interfaces, automation, monitoring, safety states
Own fleet and remote operations software: telemetry, device/site management, command/control, diagnostics
Deliver secure OTA / release infrastructure: staged rollout, gating, rollback, version compatibility
Set standards for reliability, observability, incident response, and cybersecurity
Hire/lead a high-performing team and define technical roadmap & delivery cadence from the ground up
Qualification
Required
12+ years software engineering experience; strong leadership in complex platforms
Track record shipping production software across distributed systems / edge + cloud
Experience building software for mission-critical infrastructure (energy, industrial, robotics, automotive, datacenter, telecom)
Deep comfort with operational excellence: uptime, safety, security, rollback, real-world deployments
Preferred
Automotive Full Vehicle OEM experience from an industry leader
