Responsibilities
This position is responsible to create designs that effectively communicate advertising and marketing messaging appropriate to NDSU
Responsible for concept development, design and production of university publications, promotional materials, and digital marketing communication
Prepares specifications for bidding, works with commercial printers and vendors for cost and quality control; contributes to creative team to reach important constituencies including prospective and current students, alumni, donors, legislators and other opinion leaders
Qualification
Required
BS, BA or BFA in Graphic Design, Communication or related area
1-3 years of recent, relevant experience in print and digital design
Demonstrated design ability (portfolio//samples required)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software on a Mac platform
Demonstrated ability to work with creative team
Preferred
4+ years of recent, relevant design experience
Experience designing for digital mediums
Experience with video production and/or animation
Experience working in higher education
