The Document Processing Specialist is responsible for efficiently processing various documents, ensuring compliance, and maintaining records to support seamless workflow within the organization.

Responsibilities

Place mail in proper buckets for distribution

Collect daily mail and distribute to correct departments. Date stamp all incoming mail

Sort mail such as returned letters, adjustments, bills, orders, and payments

Prepare outgoing mail for Enrollment and Operations teams

Weigh mail to determine correct postage

Fold letters, circulars, or other documents and insert into envelopes for distribution

Prepare Enrollment Batches

Maintaining Misdirected Document Log

Logging batches in and out of file system

Organize, maintain, and scan documents

Stock copy rooms and printing devices

Ensure office is adequately stocked with mail supplies

Fax documents to clients, members, and vendors

Support mailing, scanning/copying, and filing needs of Claims department as needed

Support operational departments when needed

Other duties as assigned
