Quality Inspector - Yard

CRH is one of North America’s largest PVC pipe producers, and they are currently seeking a Yard Quality Inspector for the shipping and receiving area. The role involves conducting quality assurance checks and visual inspections to ensure product accuracy and safety before shipping.

Responsibilities

QA load checks for all loads

Conduct visual inspections for legible print line, gasket defects, chamfer, bell, fading, and any other issues of pipe

Confirm all products being shipped with PO is accurate

Confirm correct product makes it on the truck

Confirm packaging is correct safe and secure for each bundle

Identify any physical damage to product from yard handling and report through the proper channels

All other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

High School diploma or GED or equivalent Vocational Training/Certification, other related experience or combination thereof

At least 1 year of related experience, preferred

Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and directions

Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company

Computer literate experienced with Microsoft Office software

Ability to work in the outdoor elements

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
