Account Manager
Latitude Inc is seeking a driven K–12 Account Manager to generate new business with public school districts and select private educational organizations. This role involves developing customer relationships and achieving revenue targets through a consultative sales approach.
Responsibilities
Drive new business growth within an assigned territory focused on mid-to-large K–12 school districts
Prospect, qualify, and secure new customer opportunities through consistent outbound activity
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to support accurate forecasting and revenue goals
Conduct regular in-person sales meetings with district administrators and decision-makers
Utilize a consultative selling approach to align technology solutions with district needs
Manage existing accounts while prioritizing new customer acquisition
Track all sales activity, opportunities, and proposals within a CRM system
Prepare and deliver regular sales forecasts and performance updates to leadership
Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and ongoing skill development
Qualification
Required
3+ years of proven sales experience, with demonstrated success in new business development
Prior experience selling to K–12 school systems or educational organizations
Strong prospecting, presentation, and closing skills
Hunter mentality with a track record of opening new accounts
Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Technical aptitude and strong attention to detail
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred
Experience in sales within education markets
Familiarity with district buying cycles and procurement processes
Comfort working from a home office while maintaining high activity levels
