Responsibilities

Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debit
Under general supervision, consolidate cash and prepare for bank deposit
Balance cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift. Maintains end of day operations by following policies and procedures
Distribute petty cash bags to clinics and ancillary departments
Greet and respond to requests in a customer focused manner

Qualification

Cash operations experienceMathematical skillsMicrosoft OfficeAnalytical skillsInter-personal skillsBasic PC knowledgeProblem solving skills

Required

High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
Inter-personal skills necessary to effectively communicate and provide customer service to people from various social-economic backgrounds
Must have mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills in order to handle semi-complex details and exposure to confidential information

Preferred

Two (2) years of experience related to the cash operations/accounting field preferred
Basic PC knowledge, familiarity with electronic equipment and Microsoft Office programs (e.g. cash register, Word, Excel, etc.) preferred
