Anaplan Solution Architect

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking an Anaplan Solution Architect to lead enterprise-level engagements by designing and implementing complex Anaplan models. This role involves mentoring team members, supporting business development, and overseeing the Anaplan Center of Excellence to ensure effective data collaboration and governance.

Responsibilities

Develop Anaplan models and provide consulting support to the Budget, Planning, and Campus Strategy department
Lead enterprise-level engagements by designing and implementing complex, multi-dimensional Anaplan models and strategies
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure high-quality project delivery, meet utilization targets, and achieve milestones
Mentor team members and contribute to thought leadership
Support business development and assist in assessing needs, mechanisms, and procedures around effective data collection and management
Strategically oversee data collaboration across different units
Establish governance and best practices to support transformation
Contribute to the implementation of the Anaplan CoE and establish a pivotal information technology framework

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Library Science, or Data Science
At least six years of relevant business analyst or EPM administration experience, which includes three years of experience with Anaplan modeling and developing
Certified Anaplan Model Builder or Certified Solution Architect or Master Anaplanner
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire

Preferred

Master's degree and/or equivalent experience in a relevant subject area, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Library Science, or Data Science
5+ years of experience in business analytics and insights
Experience in financial planning & analysis and Human Resources modeling
Proven experience in leading quality assurance (QA) and testing efforts, writing test scripts, and creating user stories
Proven track record of addressing and solving complex business problems with innovative solutions
Experience creating solution tools utilizing multiple sources of data
Experience with ERP or database management and data governance processes and tools
