Financial Analyst I

Farm Credit Financial Partners, Inc. (FPI) has been providing technology products and services to the Farm Credit System for over 25 years. The Financial Analyst I role primarily focuses on supporting the Accounts Receivable and Revenue cycles, which includes preparing and sending invoices, processing payments, and maintaining customer records.

Responsibilities

Create and issue invoices to customers
Process credit memos
Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable ledger
Reconcile revenue accounts
Responds to customer inquiries and resolves any discrepancies in billings and payments
Collect payments from customers and accurately apply to customer records
Demonstrate superior customer service to internal and external customers
Provide back-up support for Accounts Payable and Purchasing functions
Other related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or minimum of two years' experience in billing, preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Extensive computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel
Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and adherence to policy and procedures
Ability to work independently and demonstrate a sense of urgency
Ability to report to work in person and to attend work-related functions/activities
Ability to work at a desk and use a computer for extended periods
Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 10 pounds occasionally
Ability to occasionally travel as required
Ability to type and utilize various software programs efficiently and operate general office equipment
Ability to work in an office setting with moderate noise levels
Ability to concentrate and focus on details when reviewing documents, analyzing data, and performing computer-based tasks
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
Ability to problem-solve efficiently and make sound decisions
Ability to manage job-related stress and interactions with clients, colleagues, or external parties
Ability to communicate ideas clearly in both verbal and written form
Ability to work with others in a collegial and collaborative manner
Must be able to work scheduled hours and overtime as needed

Preferred

Experience with Infor FSM, Adaptive or Ramp
