LHH is seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to join their client's team and strengthen their security posture across cloud and on-prem environments. This role will focus on proactive threat detection, advanced security operations, and strategic technology recommendations.

Responsibilities

Conduct proactive threat hunting and identify potential attack vectors

Design and implement security controls for both cloud and on-premises environments

Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to detect anomalies

Perform vulnerability assessments and assist in remediation planning

Oversee Data Loss Prevention (DLP) alerts and investigations

Support secure SDLC practices, embedding security into development processes

Collaborate on cloud security strategy and deployment initiatives

Stay ahead of emerging threats, attack techniques, and zero-day vulnerabilities

Participate in incident response and continuous improvement of security operations

Qualification

Threat huntingMicrosoft security ecosystemData protection toolsProfessional Security CertificationsCommunication skills

Required

Minimum 6+ years in security-focused roles, with at least 4 years in a senior-level capacity

Proven ability in active threat hunting—anticipating and identifying risks before they become incidents

Hands-on expertise with Microsoft security ecosystem, including: Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR), Azure Security Center, and Microsoft Purview Compliance Manager

Familiarity with Managed Extended Detection and Response (MXDR) solutions

Strong understanding of data protection tools such as Purview Information Protection

At least 2 Professional Security Certifications (examples: CISSP, CEH, OSCP, GPEN, AZ-500, SC-200, SC-300)

Exceptional communication skills—able to clearly articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively

This is a fully remote position but this position will be required to work PST hours
