Responsibilities
Provide fiscal analyses and assist in the preparation of caseload and expenditure estimates for CalFresh and Nutrition Programs
Develop annual Local Assistance Governor’s Budget and May Revision updates for programs administered by the County Welfare Departments
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical skills
Experience in policy analysis
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience in fiscal analyses
Ability to assist in the preparation of caseload and expenditure estimates
Experience with data collection and analysis
Ability to respond to proposed legislation and regulatory changes
Ability to develop estimates for state budget processes
Completion of employment history on the application form (STD 678)
Submission of a Statement of Qualifications or Supplemental Questionnaire
Unofficial transcripts for verification if meeting minimum qualifications with education
Proof of residence in California prior to appointment for candidates residing outside California
