New Grad, Entry LevelCharlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking a Student Placement Coordinator to assist with the implementation of student placement processes. The role involves reviewing transfer requests, coordinating appointments for hardship caregiver applications, and maintaining accurate student records and databases.

Responsibilities
Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures
Perform administrative duties/office support work for the department
Respond to student record related questions from school staff and outside agencies
Maintain accurate student databases, records, and reports that are State compliant
Responsible for accurate data entry of hardships, transfer, and residency appeals
Create and monitor student record data tracker that keeps the department informed and organized
Perform regular file reviews to verify all required documentation is present and file is compliant
Compile and distribute school lists of students' names being approved or denied to their school for transfer/reassignments
Prepare documentation, workflows, standard operating procedures, reports, memos, and other correspondence as requested
Develop and deliver professional development to school-based administrative assistant staff that support compliance efforts
Attend professional development and other meetings as required
Create an inclusive environment with positive communication/public relations
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license or ability to provide own transportation
Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings
Preferred
Associates degree preferred
Equivalent combination of education and experience
