Responsibilities

Lead in-house media outreach efforts to promote Goodyear’s corporate story, business milestones and leadership perspectives. Cultivate relationships with key media outlets and journalists to drive consistent, positive coverage

Identify, secure and help manage strategic speaking opportunities for Goodyear executives at global industry events, conferences and forums. Ensure messaging aligns with corporate priorities and enhances leadership visibility

Support broader corporate reputation initiatives. Collaborate across functions/geographies to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with global communications strategies

Develop and execute a global awards strategy that highlights Goodyear’s innovation, leadership and impact. Manage submissions and coordinate with internal teams to identify and pursue relevant recognition opportunities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field

3 or more years of experience in within either a corporate or agency setting, ideally with international exposure or work in a global organization

Proven ability to design and execute experience in media relations

Strong ability to cultivate both internal and external relationships

Preferred

Demonstrated ability to proactively solve problems, make strong recommendations and provide communications counsel at both the strategic/tactical levels

Strong team orientation and experience building relationships - Influencing and working effectively with diverse stakeholders

Organized and independent, with excellent execution skills and strong attention to detail
