Responsibilities
Own daily account management, serving as the primary client lead for medium to large budget client
Set strategic direction for client communications programs and ensure ongoing activity maps back to it
Develop, manage, and execute programs, initiatives, and campaigns that achieve client objectives
Build personal brand through speaking engagements, bylined articles, or industry panels that elevate Scout Lab's visibility
Contributing strategic insights to evolve Scout Lab's service offerings, proprietary frameworks, or integrated campaign methodologies
Supports the Director in the professional development of junior team members
Measure and clearly communicate progress of client activity externally and internally
Secure high-impact earned media stories and maintain a strong Rolodex of key relationships
Create and oversee the production of well-articulated content: messaging, presentations, press releases, blog posts, media statements, and more
Support the Director in counseling clients during crisis and litigation situations
Lead the new business process by supporting proposal development, as needed
Drive development of campaign concepts with Brand team members across varying projects, as needed
Qualification
Required
5-7+ years experience in public relations or media relations
2+ years direct experience supervising individuals and teams
Top notch written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Collaborative mindset
Preferred
Experience working with early to mid-stage technology companies
