Responsibilities
Prepare test samples (Aluminum) according to industry and Hydro standards
Conduct mechanical testing, including tensile, yield, and elongation tests, as well as flare testing, ensuring adherence to testing procedures and compliance
Maintain the highest standards of ethical behavior and compliance
Perform other duties as assigned by the Lab Supervisor and/or Quality Supervisor
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Strong math, problem-solving, and computer skills
Ability to understand and comply with lab and company quality and safety documentation
Preferred
Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred
Familiarity with quality testing and inspection procedures is a plus
Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards
Skilled in operating test and inspection equipment
Capable of operating a band saw and CNC machinery
